Pleasant Hill Chicks are District 14 Softball Champs!

The Pleasant Hill Chick Softball team captured the District 14 Softball championship last night, defeating Harrisonville 3-0 in semi-finals and defeating Grain Valley 8-4. Grain Valley and Pleasant Hill had previously split in conference play. The win sends the Chicks to the sectional round of state play-offs on Wednesday, Oct 14th. The Chicks will play Warsaw (winner of District 13) at Clinton at 6pm. Admission is $5. The game will be played at Optimist Park located on Artesian Avenue in Clinton. Directions should be posted on the front page of the school website on Wed. The weather will be cold but hopefully the Chicks can continue their hot winning streak!
